Get ready to roll, Mavericks!
We are excited to announce that, beginning mid-October, UTA will launch a new micromobility program in partnership with Veo! This program will provide students, staff and visitors with access to shared electric scooters and bikes, offering a sustainable, fun, and convenient way to navigate the campus.
Veo’s Cosmo e-bikes and Astro scooters are perfect for getting to class, catching the bus, or exploring campus—all without needing a car. This partnership marks a key step toward enhancing transportation options at UTA while promoting sustainability and safety.
How to Ride:
- Find your ride: Riders 18+ can locate a nearby Veo scooter or bike using the free Veo app.
- Unlock and go: Simply scan the QR code on the vehicle using the app. You can get unlimited rides for $5.99/month + $0.39/min or single rides are $1.00 to unlock + $0.39/min.
- End your ride: Park your vehicle in designated Mandatory Parking Zones, and confirm proper parking by taking a photo in the app. This will be available at any UTA bike rack.
Ride Responsibly: Dos and Don’ts
- Do: Wear a helmet, yield to pedestrians, and park responsibly.
- Don’t: Double ride, ride underage, ride on sidewalks, or under the influence.
